Michelle Ortiz

Ms. Ortiz graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law in May of 2004. Ms. Ortiz practices in the area of insurance defense and marital law. She has worked with Legal Aid Society of Miami Dade, representing victims of Domestic Violence and helped indigent parties with free legal services. Ms. Ortiz is well versed in the areas of domestic violence and complex family law cases, with issues such as child support, alimony, time sharing, equitable distribution of assets and liabilities and post judgment modifications. Ms. Ortiz is also a mediator and is actively involved in alternative dispute resolution. She works closely with the community to provide a holistic approach to the divorce process. Specifically, she works with a network of experts ranging from therapists, Parent coordinators, accountants and low cost community providers.
